I have a number of things to share about Lloyd Holm.
I do volunteer work at a large property in Ben Lomond where it can rain more than 60 inches a year. Three structures there have flat roofs and one of them failed. During storms, water ran through the tar and gravel into the roof framing and down the interior wall. We were left with stains, mildew and several failed fixes.
With my background in construction, I knew flat roofs leave little margin for error. They have more in common with wading pools than a pitched roof. Close attention to slopes, seams and outlets (scuppers) is crucial on a flat roof. I also knew from experience that most roofers pushed to get done. They were satisfied to leave the details of fit and finish to the “other guys,” the ones who worked under the roof.
Fortunately, I know Lloyd personally for six or seven years now, his story, and his character. Remarkably, he takes pride in the details of fit and finish. He had a fire-resistant solution for our roof called a One-ply membrane. Lloyd personally has them installed leak-free for twenty years and counting. He was always on time during our project, kept appointments and helped us diagnose and repair deficiencies in the roof framing, slope and scuppers that were as old as the building itself.
We love the new roof, and during this very wet winter not one drop of water found its way into the residence. It was perfect the day he left and it promises to stay that way.
Thanks Lloyd!

Lloyd Holm installed the roof on our home in Carmel California and did a great job. He and his crew then came down to Coronado California and installed a roof on our one hundred year old English Tudor historic home. He and his crew did a quality job at a fair price. Having a satisfied customer is the ultimate compliment.
